Less than Trailer Load (LTL)

Premium Matson Hardwood Lumber in the Quantities You Need

Not every shop needs a full trailer load of lumber. Matson Lumber offers LTL purchasing for local and regional customers — the same premium, kiln-dried hardwood in the quantities that match your production schedule.

Built for Small-Shop Operations

Matson's core lineup includes five primary species, selected for their market demand and Matson's ability to produce them at the highest quality level. We also produce select quantities of secondary species — contact our sales team for current availability.

No Restrictive Minimums

Buy what your production schedule actually requires, without excessive minimums or freight markups that penalize smaller shops.

Consistency You Can Count On

The same grading standards Matson's larger customers depend on. Less culling, less waste, and more usable yield from every board.

We Understand What Small Shops Need

Buyers have told us the same thing for years: too many suppliers treat LTL orders as an afterthought by padding freight costs, enforcing high minimums, or shipping product that doesn't hold up to what was promised. We built our LTL program around what small shops actually need to keep their production moving.

Species Availability

Matson's full range of primary and secondary hardwood species may be available for LTL purchase, subject to current inventory. Availability varies by species and season. Contact our sales team or check the Stock List for current LTL-eligible inventory.
