We continue to work on finding the best hardwood in Northwestern Pennsylvania to provide our customers with the most consistent, well manufactured product in the industry. Matson understands that yield is of primary importance to our customers so we inspect our lumber a minimum of 2X to insure that our products are on or above specifications. In compliance with FSC standards Matson Lumber will not source wood from any controversial sources as defined:

- Illegally harvested wood.

- Wood harvested from areas where traditional or civil rights have been violated.

- Wood harvested from genetically modified trees.

- Wood harvested from areas converted to plantations where no local government permitting is required.

- Wood harvested from forest areas having high conservation values which are threatened.
